Peter brings a wealth of experience to the Parker Law Qld legal team. With over 30 years of extensive post-admission experience covering various areas of Law including Commercial Litigation, Family Law, Personal Injuries, Commercial Law, Conveyancing (residential and commercial), and Wills & Estates, Peter is a valuable addition to Parker Law Qld.

Peter moved to Mackay in the early 1990s after completing his Law degree and Commerce degree at the University of Queensland, and then serving two years as an article clerk with a Brisbane law firm.  Since moving to Mackay, he has worked with two other local law firms before choosing Parker Law Qld, where he can focus on working in the areas of Commercial Law, Conveyancing, and Wills & Estates.

Peter’s interests outside of the legal field have included camping, bushwalking, overseas travel and reading. Backpacking the Thorsborne Trail on Hinchinbrook Island with a group of friends, including his now wife, was a highlight of his bushwalking days. Since then, Peter and his wife have had three children, who are now in their high school and university years, and still keep him busy outside of work. Additionally, Peter has been involved with various churches in the Mackay area, most recently at Mackay Baptist Church as a Deacon and Church Secretary.

Peter looks forward to assisting clients in the areas of Commercial Law, Conveyancing (residential and commercial), and Wills & Estates.
